My greatest passion is photography, and I always hope to make a difference in people’s lives by capturing their inner spark. I believe that the intimate portrait creation process is a great way to recapture confidence and strength that may have been lost over time and buried deep down.

When that happens, we immortalize stunning shots that clients fall in love with. Portraits that loved ones admire too. That’s a heartwarming experience.

Being a professional photographer is my passion

My passion for photography started back in Poland, back when it was actual film and not digital. I was twelve when I borrowed my father’s camera to take a closeup of the joy on my mother’s face. It ended up being the first portrait I ever took, and I still have that camera to this day. I fell in love with the idea of how one still, the colourless image, can capture so much emotion. I even went as far as to build my darkroom from scratch in the family bathroom. I hope my family forgives me for all the times they had to wait while my next best shot was in the developing solution.

I know life can get in the way of claiming a moment just for yourself. For me, it was immigration, marriage, kids, extended family, and a career change that left me with little time to focus on being a professional photographer. But here’s the thing, big dreams shouldn’t be put on the back shelf waiting for someday.
With the kids growing older and relocating from Alberta to Vancouver Island, I stepped back into my artistic passion. After working in the corporate environment for years, I realized that it was time to reignite my passion and step fully into being a professional photographer
